Sometimes, weather just leads to creativity. When it's all you can do just to buy a few groceries and get back home without melting or being overcome by an unhealthy ozone level, it's time to "hunker down" (as we do during hurricanes) and do something that does not require moving...at all...except at an air-conditioned gym...or in an air-conditioned facilty of any kind...

I have had this little piece in mind for some time, for obvious reasons, and finally decided that I had no perfect way to illustrate this summer. I had thought of plenty of possibilities, but the logistics never seemed to work out. So "just sit down and do something with it to finish the project off. Then you can move on to the other million things on your list." Yes, those were the words that flashed through my mind. For better or for worse, here it is. Now, it becomes yours to interpret....
